Slitting

Erickson Metals' slitting lines process coils cut to our customers' close-tolerance width specifications from 1/4-inch to 36 inches, with maximum outside diameters to 60 inches.

The tightly wound coils that result from Erickson Metals' precision slitting consistently create less surface damage, produce less scrap, and are easier to handle.

 

 

 

 

Sawing, Cut-To-Length, Shearing

Erickson Metals maintains the most advanced equipment in its modern plants. Our facilities process sheet, plate, rod, bar and extruded metals for customers in many industries, which include high technology and aerospace applications.

Erickson provides customers with these benefits:

· precision sawing with tolerances as close as +/- 0.005 on width and length, as well as close tolerances for squareness and parallelism

· cut-to-length materials up to 1/8-inch thick, 60 inches wide, and as long as 20 feet

precision shearing of up to 1/4-inch thick and 12-foot long materials, with tolerances better than half commercial standard on width and length.
